For Children Coping with Grief

The Wilbert Foundation provides pediatric chaplains with resources to help children cope with the trauma of sickness, grief and death.

Bertie_Bear_Care_Kit_contents The Bertie Bear kit is a resource developed to directly benefit the children for whom pediatric chaplains care. The kit opens into a playhouse providing Bertie and the child four spacious rooms to play. Chaplains disperse the kits through their networks aiding in interaction with the child and their family.

For First Responders Who Die in the Line of Duty

Firefighters, law enforcement officers and emergency medical technicians who die in the line of duty are provided a customized, Stainless Steel Triune® burial vault through Wilbert’s Commemorating First Responders program. If the choice is cremation, we provide an urn as well as a Stainless Steel Triune urn vault if the cremated remains are to be buried.

As a final tribute, a WilbertWay® graveside service is provided at no charge to the family, if permitted by the cemetery.
